TEST REPORTS

STIMULATION

Female partner is provided with medications to stimulate ovaries for follicular growth.

TRIGGERED
SHOT

A trigger shot is administered to induce follicle maturation once the follicle reaches the appropriate size.

EGG
RETRIEVAL

Under short anesthesia, eggs are collected and sent to the embryology lab for further processing.

SPERM
COLLECTION

Semen samples from the male partner are collected, sometimes through specialized procedures like TESA.

FERTILISATION

In a controlled laboratory environment, eggs and sperm are brought together to facilitate fertilization. As a result, embryo(s) are formed.

EMBRYO
IMPLANTATION

Three to five days after fertilization, the embryo(s) are transferred to the woman’s uterus. Following this, a complex interaction occurs between the embryo and the uterine lining, determining the success of implantation.

PREGNANCY
TEST

Two weeks after embryo transfer, a blood test is conducted to determine if pregnancy has occurred. The presence of a hormone called Beta HCG, produced by the developing embryo, will be elevated in the blood if implantation is successful.
