Santasa IVF Hassan was established in 2008, and our Mysuru center was established in 2014 to extend services to the people of Mysuru district, under the guidance of Dr. Sowmya Dinesh. Our main domains of care include Infertility, Advanced hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries, and Well woman and well couple health concepts.
Dr. Sowmya Dinesh and her team, experts in Gynaecology, Endoscopy and Embryology, aim at fulfilling the dreams of childless couples by providing world-class advanced fertility services. From Heartbreak to Hope – Santasa's World-First Innovation for Previable PROM 🌟
At Santasa Fertility & IVF, we proudly announce a world-first medical innovation that is rewriting the future for pregnancies threatened by Previable Premature Rupture of Membranes (PVPROM).
For decades, doctors could only "wait and watch" when a pregnant woman's waters broke too early — with heartbreaking consequences. Now, thanks to pioneering research led by Dr. Sowmya Dinesh HR, our team has developed the Intra-Amniotic Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) and Plasma (PRP) Therapy — a safe, natural, and minimally invasive procedure that uses the mother's own healing cells to seal amniotic fluid leaks and protect her baby.
Why This Matters
Around 700,000 pregnancies are affected by PVPROM every year worldwide. Until now, no curative treatment existed — most ended in pregnancy loss. With Santasa's innovation, pregnancies have continued up to 149 days post-leak, leading to healthy, full-term babies.
Our Results So Far 📊
14 women treated in our pilot study in which 10 cases have sealed successfully and 12 healthy babies have been delivered with one pregnancy ongoing as on 9th August 2025.
