Couple should go to IVF when the chances of pregnancy with other methods are low but relatively higher with IVF. Few reasons to opt IVF are: fallopian tube damage, moderate to severe endometriosis, pelvic adhesions and more than mild male infertility factor.

Infertility in men is most often caused by:

• Problems making sperm
• Abnormal sperm shape or structure or immunological problems prevent it from moving correctly

PCOS is one of the most common, but treatable, causes of infertility in women. In women with PCOS, the hormonal imbalance interferes with the growth and release of eggs from the ovaries (ovulation). If you don't ovulate, you can't get pregnant.
